The selvage denims are produced on the very same looms that, mostly exported to Japan, created the originals in the U.S. until 50 years ago.

New sizes up to  Waist 40. Lee used to make 101 only untill W36.

NPS Shoes Ltd (Northampton Productive Society) was founded in 1881 and produces the brand Solovair.

All their boots and shoes are made in the UK from start to finish using the Goodyear Welted construction method.

 

In 1959 the NPS factory produced the very first pair of Dr. Martens and for more than 35 years they produced

Dr. Martens under licence all labeled with ”Dr. Martens by Solovair”.

NPS continues to produce the finest quality footwear.

Is it Bettie or Betty? While it reportedly says "Betty Mae Page" on her birth certificate, "Bettie" is the form that she has always used since she was a child (such as for signatures), so Bettie is therefore the preferred spelling. However, whether due to oversight or for the sake of simplification, in her 1950's photos and films she was often billed as "Betty Page."
